My Declaration
Baseball is America’s past time and is a sport that we all have played at least once in our lifetime. Baseball is all about teamwork and it takes the whole team to succeed and win. I love the sport of baseball and have my whole life. I have been playing baseball ever since I was little. I have played baseball for many different teams and won a championship when I was twelve years old. I have played every position at least once but my favorites are Shortstop, Centerfield, and Pitcher. I like these positions because you are able to lead the team. My favorite moment was when I pitched a 2-hit shutout to win the championship and celebrating on the field with my teammates. I always have a lot of fun when playing baseball and love every moment whether it is out in the field or talking with my teammates in the dugout.
Baseball is not just America’s past time but has spread to almost every part of the world. Some of the best MLB players in the world have been from other countries and have grown up playing baseball without being able to afford a glove. Baseball is featured in the Summer Olympics and gives other countries the chance to show off their baseball talent. Not only is it featured in the Olympics but the World Baseball Classic was created to give other countries another chance to compete. Baseball is a sport that is loved by almost everyone in the world.
